Technological Weapons

i know you think this belongs in the fire arms section but it doesnt. Biovore reminded me of some weapons ive read about over time. these weapons are highly advanced. for example:
1. A weapon that fires alumin casings at almost half the speed of light. most people know this as a plasma gun but most do not know why this is, the gun has the ability to shoot through anything. what happens is the casing is accelerated to ungodly speeds using electrical plasma(something having to do with the energy caused by ripping apart a atom) the shell is projected so fast that it turns to liquid hot metal in air going at sush a speed it will melt through anything.
2. 2 years ago the government began researching on a weapon that would be the size of a handgun and fire bullets at a right of 50 per second. the gun pre loads 5 bullets into the chamber through a special tube in the back of the weapon where the hammer would normally be. the weapon fires each bullet with an electrical charge instead of a hammer. hammers take to much time to move back and forth, but with the electrical charge it can fire 1 bullet ever .005 seconds or so i think. special attachments have been made for the weapon tube coming out of the back of the gun. the tube is attached to a device thatcomes from a pack hoisted like a backpack. the back pack carries nothing but ammunition. the gun can reload as fast as it fires, and the gun is capable of fireing the whole pack in under 1 minute easy, the only problem is keeping the barrel cool.
3."Project Siphen", a flammable agent, almost like napalm, but more with the properties of nitroglycern, this subtance comes in a glue like form and is ignited by pressure, the government is currently testing this weapon, it can be dropped in open barrels from high altitudes so that it splatters all over the ground, and will not ignite, but when someone steps onto it the compression on itself will ignite it. a half cup of this stuff os supped to be the equivelant of stepping on a mine.

Hmmm...#1 could be a rail or coil gun...and #2 sounds like Metal Storm, but might be different. I am stumped on #3.

Okay #2 is'nt metalstorm.... I do belive it is made by the same company blue something or other Metalstorm is a largish box like thing ill find a pic...
#1 needs a HOLE POWER PLANT to run so i dont see it being a "battlefield" weapon any time soon

i wouldnt give mine...o need mine to create little me's who will be obsessed with this stuff like i am. and im sure that theyre gonna come up with a compact powersource for the plasma gun. it would make it a lot more useful, seing as how they dont have man fired guns on battle ships and what not nowadays...just really BIG anti-aircraft missles

Ive heard a new weapon that is like a sniper rifle.Its range is up to 4 or 5 miles and can kill a man wothout evan hittin him.Its so powerful the speed of the bullet dosent evan need to make contact with the body and it can penetrate straight through tanks at about 1500M.The only problem is that it is extremly expensive and extremly heavy to carry around.

A .50cal or ~11mm ish round will kill you if it passes within an inch on your neck, as the air displaced by it will rupture you artrys, so maybe a 20mm rile would own.

Yer there great and i can't beleive this gun can go straight through a tank at 1500 meteres fuckin exellent.Soon when im older im gonna steal a sniper and get a licease and go shootin 4 fun(were talkin animals here im not a homicidal maniac).

Final: It depends on what your sights are set at, if you have them set for 1000m and shoot something at 100m you are going to shoot over its head somewhere, so you would aim at the feet and get a hit in the chest or reset the battlesights, to 100m.
You can buy .50 cal rifles in AUS singleshots single bullet. they cost ~$15 per bullet. (a 223 costs $1) so they aint cheap.
As for where you are ghost (ENG?) you will have a hard time getting a gun at all i here.
As for it going though a tank, that is quite possible. Tanks are not moving bricks but are realy fragile things, they get fucked up driving along roads for too long, prone to overheating, as heat cannot escape, they are not the best weapon.

Why do you want one of those? I would much rather get a Reminton 700 and fit it with a thicker barrel, tactical stock and Tasco 10X or 15X scope.....
But hell ill get you one.
