Poetry section

This will be the first of many great poems by both me and hopefully other members:
As i sit here trying to rhyme,
My mind starts to wander throughout time,
The wars, famines, droughts and monsoons,
My favourite program, Looney Toons.
I sit here wondering, pondering and thinking,
Always destined to be blinking.
Thats the end of the poem now,
I think i might go blow up a car. i wonder how...

that one was sorta all over the place...most poems ive read have a more centered topic, I.E. they stick to one subject.

THINKING, our greatest asset, but one not many people use. I like THE Poem enroht quite good, better than the shit we do at school.

Yeah, thanks Biovore, in our school the only leson i appreciate is Chemistry where thankfully we have a decent teacher which is than can be said for the rest of the staff all our teachers seem to sweat a lot as well i've noticed......
We are told school days are the best,
We are told they are better than the rest,
The old people ramble on and on,
They don't realise school is a con,
They say we can't do any better in our life,
The best we can hope for is a decent wife,
a low paid job,
A friend named Bob.
They don't realise we are rising,
To make life seem more appetising,
We will have it all, money and recognition,
Sex always in our favourite position.
We will grab power,
Make no one race, religion or sex cower.
There goes the bell for next class,
I don't want to go, maybe i'll break the fire alarm glass
There's my next poem and i stayed on one topic.  . Again, telling me what you think would be great

The best poems are the one that are different. i like THE Poem better. i dont mind going to school as we always find something different to do. EG: Fruit wars, Eggings, mayhem, and Infotech oh what fun: Got w00t we do....

This week
I haven't tried rhyming for a whiles,
I've been getting acquainted with my bathroom tiles,
I've been lying on them, tasting the bile,
My face is tense, i cannot smile,
Wishing i could walk the green mile,
Or float face down on the nile.
Apart from that my weeks been quite good,
Wait, no it hasn't, that hope was a dud
